Ms. Amsalework Bekele is a senior development professional with more than forty years of
leadership experience in management, program design, and office administration. She has held
senior roles across multiple United Nations agencies, including UNECA, UNISAFE, and WHO,
and has worked in the Middle East, Central America, Asia, and Europe. As Founder and
Executive Director of EYA Holistic Development Foundation, she provides strategic vision,
governance oversight, and high‑level representation, cultivating partnerships and guiding the
organisation’s long‑term programmatic priorities.

Yohannes Regasa
Board Member
Mr. Yohannes Regasa is an expert in agricultural economics, land tenure, and administration,
currently serving as Senior Expert at the European Union Humanitarian Organization ECHO in
Ethiopia. He has led program design and implementation for national and regional humanitarian
and development initiatives, with particular strengths in disaster risk reduction, emergency
response, and land administration. His deep technical expertise, understanding the local and
international development and humanitarian situations and field experience contributed to the
foundation’s programmatic strategy and technical guidance.

Wakjira Bacha
Executive Manager
Mr. Wakjira Bacha is a development management specialist with 25 years of progressive
experience in international and local non‑governmental organizations. His career spans program
coordination to organizational leadership, with deep expertise in organizational leadership,
institutional capacity development, familiarization with international and local standards,
programme and project management, donor and stakeholder relations, and participatory
community implementation. He leads strategic and operational planning and program delivery;
ensuring projects are responsive to community needs and aligned with donor requirements and
the SDG goals.

Officer at NOSA Manufacturing Industry. She has a proven record of in institutional
management; translating commercial ideas into sustainable ventures and strengthening
organizational systems Her legal background and commercial leadership strengthen the board’s

Seble Mengistu

Ms. Seble Mengistu is a business administration and human resources professional with over
fifteen years of experience in both public and private sectors. She has specialized in HR

Talent Acquisition Officer at Oromia Bank. Her expertise supports the foundation’s human
capital strategy, recruitment practices, and internal capacity building.
