WHO IT ALL STARTED
We believe that creating access to economic opportunities, healthcare services, and education is critically essential for individuals and families to move out of poverty and thrive in life to fulfill their destinies. Through our programmes and initiatives, we aim to provide practical, attainable and sustainable solutions that will bring lasting changes.
One of our main programmes is to create livelihood opportunities for jobless women, girls, youth and communities as a whole through skill development, access to credit and savings schemes, IGA, and women's empowerment and the provision of basic medical services in remote areas where access to healthcare is limited. We also support early childhood development and educational initiatives, providing scholarships to students who are pursuing careers in healthcare or other fields that can benefit their communities.
We believe that education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for Ethiopia. At EFHDF-EYA, we are committed to transparency and accountability. We ensure that every last coin donated will go directly towards our programs and initiatives. We therefore believe that in working together with individuals, communities and organizations to create sustainable solutions that certainly will have a lasting impact.
